REFLECTION

I started this minor with the vision that I could learn more about 3D printing and the technique behind 3D digital drawing. During our first project, it was our task to design and develop a gadget. The second project was about tackling global challenges with a concept that doesn’t necessarily needed to be 3D printed. I hoped we would have gotten more lessons that teaches us how to make 3D digital drawings, so I could visualize my concepts better. Looking back at the minor this was just a very small part and more of a given tool that you could use but not needed to use.

Despite the lack of lessons in 3D printing a learned one thing that opened my eyes and was a way to prepare me for when I’m done with my current study. Working with multidisciplinary students. The fact that you all have a different background and different ways of approaching a process makes it sometimes difficult to work together. This process has given me a good vision of myself and my expertise when working with others. A good and interesting way to prepare ourselves for times that we need to work together with people from other disciplines in the future. It was challenging but we managed to combine our strengths to create two strong projects with fun.
